Talking on the cell phone!

Has our cell phone bill gone up? Well....not yet....but Aydan already has the right idea! He knows what it is for! And he's working on perfecting his expressions and "talking with his hands!" So funny! Don't be surprised if he calls you soon!

Eatin' Spaghetti!

We have recently discovered Aydan's love for spaghetti....and have become brave enough to face the mess! Definately worth it!

AYDAN'S 1st BIRTHDAY!

Happy 1st Birthday Aydan! It has been a great year! Aydan had about 30 guests at his birthday party! We had hamburgers, hot dogs, potato and pasta salad, and firetruck cake. (Mom and Dad had a great time staying up completing our masterpiece :) Aydan enjoyed his day and loved his first ever piece of cake! Thank you everyone for sharing in Aydan's special day!

Aydan and Sidney

Aydan and Sidney had a lot of fun chasing each other around last weekend! Sidney definately still has the speed advantage....but Aydan is catching up fast! Aydan also accomplished climbing up to the top of the stairs this week! (Up go the baby gates!) His latest interests include unrolling the toilet paper in the bathroom, opening and closing doors, and watching Wheel of Fortune. (He TOTALLY loves Wheel of Fortune! He watches it intently, laughs, and claps when the contestants clap! So funny!)

Silly Silly Boy!

Thought y'all might like a funny clip of Aydan laughing! He ate some food really fast one night and I teased him by snorting like a pig, and he thought that was sooo funny. It turns out the snorting noise is endlessly entertaining to him! :) This will make you smile!

Little Heartbreaker

Happy Valentine's Day from Aydan! (Thanks for the shirt Grandma!) Aydan enjoyed a heart shaped pancake (from chef daddy) and had a good valentine's day. He is still kind of in a "funk" as far as sleep goes after having ear infections last week, but hopefully will start getting back into a nice routine, soon!

Aydan is 11 months old!

Well....a lot has changed during the last month! Most of it relates to Aydan being mobile now. He has become a proficient crawler which has greatly expanded his daily activities. These days he stays busy opening and closing doors, drawers, and cabinets, turning on the bathroom scale, banging pots and pans, throwing things down off of the loft into the living room, and trying to splash in the dog's water dish before mommy can catch him!
